Dune Spice Collector

My idea of an environment concept for Dune with a spice collector.  One of my favorite books.

Star Wars Character Design

The first one is not too dark with a bit of light side where as the 2nd one can be considered dark side or just a natural progression from Return of the Jedi.

Star Wars Character Design with Luke

Star Wars character design, thinking more of an alternate suit for Luke.  There's also a sketch of Luke from Empire Strikes Back after being rescued from getting his hand cut off.

Thumbnails

Several thumbnails I did.  The middle ones show a theater and Pagliacci while the last one at the bottom is obviously inspired by Star Wars Episode 7.

Girl Portrait

Pencil sketch from a picture I found on the internet.  I particularly liked her face so I decided to draw her.  Uhm, never mind WHERE on the internet I found the picture.

Character Design - Girl 2

Concept Art - Scene

In keeping with the 1940's temple theme in some of my other concept art pieces.  I wanted to do a simple scene.

Character Design - Girl

This is what I fit in an 8 1/2" by 11" page so I'll probably do some more drawings of facial expressions and such.  Pen and copic markers.

More Concept Art Portfolio Pieces

The first two are for  the 1940's movie/game the other pieces were for.  The last one is a building lobby.  I know, the male character looks/is Indi.  It didn't start out that way but it ended that way.

Dragon Master

A piece I was working on.  I used an old drawing I had of the woman.  I had to change her up a bit and add everything else.  Not sure why but it's showing up really bright in here.  The proper color for this can be found at http://darkcomartist.deviantart.com/art/Dragon-Master-526166846.

Witch update

An old drawing I had done which I fixed up.  I used a version of the old one as the title art for my blog.  Since the original was done before I knew or understood Painter and Photoshop as I do now I thought I'd change a few things that bugged me from the original.

Dragon Master WIP

I've been working on this one for a while but because of work and school I've yet to finish it.  Need to add more dragons, detail to shield, background, etc.  Still a lot of work but I like where this is going.

Female Nude on Acrylic

A homework I did for my modern art history class.  Acrylic on a 9" x 12" canvass board.  This is a scan.  On my deviantart page I have a picture of it which is slightly unsaturated but the texture of the paint and the canvass doesn't show and I wasn't sure which one looked better for that reason.

My final for a character modeling class I'm taking at school.  Done in Zbrush, tpose character is polypainted and the posed character was posed using transpose master which unfortunately broke on me so I wasn't able to retain the polypaint info.  Hopefully I'll get a good grade on this.

Some more recent artwork

The first one was a pencil drawing I had done (the angel-devil drawing) but wanted to try inking it to see how it would go.... it did not.. at first. I thought I had ruined it and left it untouched for probably a year or more. I finally decided to try shading it with cross hatching, plus I just got some new copic markers so I added those as well. All in all, I'm pretty happy with this piece. The 2nd one I think I may have posted it here before but I changed a few things on it to make it better so I'm reposting it. The next one was a quick drawing I did and colored with the same new copic markers.  Finally a pencil sketch of Luke Skywalker.
